Thank you for your interest in our school and for taking the time to find out more about us.

Our vision at The Stourport High School and VIth Form College is to equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in an ever changing world and to create an aspirational environment where everyone values the opportunities to excel, both inside and outside of the classroom. Ensuring that our students are ‘the best that they can be’ each and every day is our priority.

We work with students from Year 7 all the way to Year 13 and, as part of Severn Academies Educational Trust and our strong relationships with our primary partners ensure that we know and understand our students’ needs and can begin building these lifelong aspirations from an early age.

As one of a small number of schools across the country to be designated a National Teaching School, we have been recognised nationally for our work and support of inspirational teaching and pride ourselves on our innovation and training support for our staff.

Excellent Teaching and Learning along with a wide and varied curriculum and a strong enrichment programme allows us to encourage and develop the skills students will need on their journey to university and employment. As a result of this, we are delighted to have been consistently judged outstanding by Ofsted.

We are extremely proud of our students’ achievements and the excellent relationships that we have with our parents and carers. We see our school as a family and believe that each young person in our care is an individual. Our school is a place where everyone cares about our young people’s dreams and aspirations and where, with dedicated effort and practise, everyone can succeed.

We hope that you enjoy reading more about us and, should you wish to contact us and see for yourself, we would be delighted to offer you a warm welcome.
