Due to increased numbers in our Nursery and 2 Year Old provision, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant who is able to work as part of a large team and further improve standards of learning for all.
We require a keen Grade 2 Teaching Assistant to work in support of the teaching and learning in our Early Years Foundation Stage Unit. This is a temporary role, possibly leading to permanence following a probationary period. The role requires the applicant to have experience of working with Foundation Stage children, the ability to work flexible hours and to help manage daily routines in the classroom. It will also require working with children with SEND, experience of using ‘next step’ planning and for candidates to have an understanding of the EYFS Development Stage Matters and the Thrive approach.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and to supporting all staff with training offered where applicable. The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as DBS clearance and references have been received.
