Learning Support Assistant

NJC TA2 Point 5 – 6 (£14,121 – £14,403)

32.5 hours per week – 8:30am – 3:30pm – Mon – Fri

Temporary position available

Term Time Only + TEDs (1 week)

Available from 1 September 2020

The logic of this external post is the management, planning and improvement of students’ journey across all year groups whilst at Stourport High School & VIth Form College. The post will involve working with a team of Learning Support Assistants to support students across all Key Stages, ensuring that students continually grow and develop. It also involves working with an individual with type one diabetes, previous experience of working with medical needs would be desirable. The post requires undertaking first aid training and the ability to adapt and converse with various people.

The core purpose of this role is to provide outstanding support to ensure the provision of learning for students in line with Stourport High School’s academic priorities. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring that the continual improvement of the quality of students learning is at the top of the business agenda to ensure its long-term success and sustainability.
